Garlic Butter Oyster Mushroom “Scallops”

  1. Mince garlic (5 cloves) and slice mushrooms (4–5). On each slice of oyster mushroom score one side with a crosshatch pattern.

  2. In a medium pan over medium heat, add oil (1–2 Tbsp). Once hot, add oyster mushrooms crosshatch side face down and sear til golden brown, then flip.

  3. Add butter (2 Tbsp). Once melted add gochugaru (½ tsp), and salt and pepper (to taste).

  4. Add garlic and pan fry everything together til garlic is softened and mushrooms are golden brown on both sides.

  5. Garnish with chopped scallions and enjoy!
